A year has passed happily with her guide, Sunny, and friends. Madeline takes us through the trials and tribulations of Anne’s powers as an “Owtta” whilst continuing to learn at her Academy, called Anuanna.
We meet all her friends again from the first novel, but Madeline tells us even more about each character, their loves, their fears, and their involvement not only with each other, but with Anne herself, that endears the reader to continue turning the pages.

Without giving anything away, all the scenarios of Anne’s continued fight against her tormentors are so descriptive and well written, that one needs no illustrations for the reader to envisage each scene themselves, making it so impossible to put the book down.
In essence, it is (like the Karda Jewel), a wonderfully written story, and I cannot wait for Book 3 to be produced.”
